On March 30th a comic containing a reference to the Islamic Prophet Muhammad was censored by City College News. Motivated by the negative reaction from a number of students who found the cartoon sacrilegious, two editors threatened to resign their positions on the newspaper staff if the comic was run.
“There’s no place like Al’s breakfast,” I grumbled to myself as if in a dream, after having heard from a friend that there was a new place in town that served up scrambled eggs made on an espresso machine.
