In Defense of Media Production

This semester I enrolled in the Media Production production program at MCTC and soon discovered that the program is being phased out. First semester classes will no longer be offered after spring semester.

Centuries-Old Meditation and Modern Addiction Recovery

So there we were, deep into our intense, 10-minute single-focus meditation exercise. The gourmet dining room was silent and still, save for a quick and repetitive clicking from the overhead speakers, which yours truly used as the focus of the exercise. Our feet flat on the floor and backs perfectly straight in neatly arranged chairs, we had just finished a nine-step breathing exercise to help relax for this adventure.

Though this year MCTC wanted to ensure just how well built its program was. In mid-November a health clinic will be opening at MCTC. The clinic will offer clinical services and other wellness eduction. It developed out of an idea for a student clinic and has since grown into a larger vision.
