Film Review: Dark Side of the Rainbow
October 23, 2014
By Samuel Goldman
The Good
This groundbreaking film examines the combination of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon album and the original Wizard of Oz film. Each song matches a scene perfectly. I’m a fan of both projects. The film flows flawlessly.
The Bad
The Lack of Vinyl sound was disappointing. Both projects only sync for 43 minutes and the film no longer matches up after the characters meet the tin man. More scenes per song would have enhanced the experience.
The Verdict
I was intrigued by the film’s concept. Different creative shots enhanced the picture. I found the plotline easy to follow. I recommend this film to everyone.
