AME Heritage Bowl III

A fun game of trivia, hosted by The African American Education Center (AME), about African American popular culture will take place February 18 5:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m in T.1400. It is a competition and this time it will be based on history, politics, sports, and entertainment in past decades as well as what’s going on currently. There will be other colleges represented, so please come and show your support!

Open Mic

This Thursday February 11, 2016 starting at noon in H.1002, the weekly Open Mic event will take place. There is singing, dancing, poetry, and even stand up comedy at these events. All are welcome to attend!

Six Degrees of Separation Part One

MCTC Theatre Arts presents a winter play by John Guare. This play will be showing on February 17, 18, 19 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, February 20 at 1:00 p.m (matinee). This play is free of charge and all are encouraged to attend. Six Degrees of Separation will take place at MCTC Whitney Fine Arts Theatre 1424 Yale Place, Minneapolis, MN.

Badminton Tournament

Recreation and Wellness presents a Badminton Tournament. This will take place on February 22 from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. in the Bowman Hall Gym. You must be a current student to participate. Contact Drew Rongere at [email protected]

Student Success Day

Student Life presents Student Success Day on February 25, 2016. This will be taking place from 9 a.m. – 6:20 p.m. throughout MCTC. During this time workshops, resources, and presentations will be given to students that will help them be successful. Sessions will include job interview tips, answers on how your credits will transfer, and many other things. Don’t forget that many teachers will give extra credit for your participation!
