A dark room, images shift across the screen and students lunch on falafle and baklava during the MCTC Photo Club’s spring semester photo contest, the theme: In-between.

Students, from all departments, were eligible to submit up to two photos, by March 24, to be judged on the four criteria: creative, technical, visual impact and theme interpretation. The contest was organized by the Photographic and Digital Imaging department’s Photo Club and judged by five PHDI faculty and staff members.

Contest winners were announced March 29 in room T:3490 at 12:15, after students reviewed all the submissions at a catered event. The winning entries were live critiqued by the four criteria, by two faculty members: Paul Sinkler, professor and Head of PHDI Department and Timothy Gray, professor of PHDI. Of the 27 entries, five were chosen.
